Google Webmaster Tools doesn't accept new Sitemap - What's the problem?

I'm currently using Google Webmaster Tools (see my post on Google Tools) for tasks like discovering queries that lead to my website, links to my site and submitting sitemaps to get better indexed by Google.

The thing is recently the last couple sitemaps i submitted are on a pending state without giving more information. I think this is wrong because in the past i clearly remember that when submitting a sitemap i got the message that i had submitted a certain number of pages, which was the same as in the test sitemap option(and got a date as well), but now the submitted pages number doesn't change.

The same sitemap submitted to Bing Webmaster Tools returns no problems and the right number of pages is submitted. Is there anyone out there having the same problem? Could it be that Google is making an update or something like that?

Everyone's waiting for Apple's big reveal on January 27th . Are you?

The last days the most usual piece of tech information you come across when surfing the web is the big event that Apple holds in the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco.

Most people "predict" that Apple is going to introduce us a new killer product, which will be of course another success story for Apple. As you've read in this blog like 3 weeks ago rumors say that Apple will present a tablet pc (call it "iSlate", "iTablet", "Macbook Touch" or anything else). This is the main expectation for the event.

The fun part is the "predictions" that more and more people write at blogs about the event, or the comments that guests leave at tech blogs.

Here are some of these posts and comments in popular blogs and sites as Engadget and Digg.

It's so much fun watching fanboys arguing about how the os or the services they are using are better than others

Recently i found in Digg a very interesting pic showing how fanboys see operating systems. I must admit this picture sums up the opinion we all have about operating systems and it's really funny. No impression that it has been dugg nearly 7000 times.

See it on Digg because the comments are really worth a look.

Also, another one same style pic showing how digg, reddit and 4chan fanboys see each other.

Hey, before leaving this post i should say that the browser i use to surf the net is much better than the one you use to scroll this page down. Except, of course, if you are using firefox.

Is Apple going to introduce another great gadget and surprize us all for one more time?

Rumor has it... that Apple will introduce a tablet pc. Ok, it may not be just a rumor as Financial Times said that Apple is expected to make a very important product announcement on January 26th at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, where Steve Job's company rented a stage for several days and also that Apple called some programmers to create full screen applications not for iphone that has 320x480 screen resolution.Whatever the name of its tablet will be (Macbook Touch, iSlate, etc) the posibilities for success of this product are high as happens with every other product of this company. So, we only need to wait until the end of January to see what is this major "secret" that Apple's going to reveal.

Asus Eee Pc 1101HA; My very first netbook (Hands-on review)

I'm not the guy that buys every new gadget in the market nor the one that changes his computer system every year or something like that. Frankly, i have my computer system for 3 and a half years now and i feel like having a strong bond with it despite its specs that are considered low-end nowadays. Nevertheless, i wanted to buy a small notebook to help me with my studies and be ultra portable. Also, i didn't want to spent a fortune for it and i didn't mind so much about the features it had. The only thing i wanted from the netbook i was going to buy was to run a version of Windows 7. The netbook i chose to buy is an Asus Eee Pc 1101HA featuring an 11,1 inch screen with resolution 1366x768HD,an Intel Atom Z520 at 1,33GHz, 2GB of ram(great for a netbook) and 250GB HDD that can reach up to 750GB of space using ASUS Webstorage Service. As an ordinary netbook it offers a high resolution web-cam, vga-out port, 3 usb ports, card reader(ms/pro duo), wifi n connectivity for even faster internet access and extreme portability. What this netbook offers more than other netbooks is its long lasting battery life that can reach up to 9 hours using Super Hybrid Engine, so you won't worry if you get out of battery any time soon after you unplug it.
Also, i found its keyboard really ergonomic, so this netbook will be helpful enough to write a blog post while you are on your way somewhere. What is more, Windows 7 fit perfectly with Asus Eee Pc 1101HA and for me is a good introduction to this operating system. Finally if you really care about environment and saving money as well this portable gadget is suitable for you as it has an energy star.

Nokia Booklet 3G

Nokia announced the Nokia Booklet 3G. It may seem just another netbook but its features show it isn't. It's a mini notebook (as Nokia claims) with mobile phone specs that increase its mobility. It features a 10,1 inch HD ready screen, HDMI output, bluetooth, wifi of course, 3G, HSDPA, ovi suite and more nokia services. Also, as the pictures show it may come with Windows 7. In my opinion it's another digital breakthrough from Nokia that will be really successful. We will just wait to see.
